PM Yashasvi scholarship scheme is a scholarship scheme established by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. This scheme is for the students studying in class 9 or class 11. Yashasvi scheme is brought by National Testing Agency (NTA).

NTA has invited applications from school students for scholarships. The full form of YASASVI is PM Young achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (YASASVI).

 

PM Yashasvi scholarship scheme eligibility criteria

YASASVI Scholarship Scheme is for those students who are not financially able to complete their schooling. It is mandatory to have the following eligibility criteria for the PM Yashasvi scholarship scheme.

  • Students studying in class 9 or class 11
  • The annual income of the parents should not exceed 2.5 lakhs.
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC),
  • Economically Backward Classes (EBC)
  • Non-Notified, Nomadic, and Semi Nomadic Tribes (DNT/SNT) Category

 

Process of YASASVI Scholarship

National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct an entrance exam on September 11 to shortlist the students for PM YASASVI 2022. The mode of this exam will be in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) format. The application process for YASASVI 2022 started on 27th July. The last date to submit the form for this is 26 August at 11:50 pm. Students can fill out their application form by visiting the official website yet.nta.ac.in.

Applications for PM Young achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (YASASVI) have started. You can also easily apply for this scheme by following the steps given below.

Step 1: First of all visit the official website of NTA yet.nta.ac.in.

Step 2: After this click on the link to Register given on the website.

Step 3: Now enter your name, email address, date of birth, and password.

Step 4: Now check your filled information and click on submit button.

Step 5: Now your application number will be generated and your account will be created.

Step 6: Now login to your NTA account by submitting the application number and password.

Step 7: Now fill out your application form carefully and check it once again so that there is no error.

Step 8: After that submit your application form.

Step 9: Now you have the application complete. After completing all the processes take the print of the application.

 

PM Yashasvi Scholarship Amount

Under the YASAVI scheme, this scholarship will be given to 15000 school students of classes 9th to 12th from Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Backward Classes (EBC), and non-notified categories. Under this scheme, students of 9th to 10th will be given a scholarship of Rs 75,000 per year. 125,000 will be given to the students of classes from 11th to 12th.
