5G service has been rolled out by Jio in only 4 cities. Once 5G is rolled out in your area, you will be able to use 5G network by changing some settings on your smartphone. Following is the step-by-step process to activate Jio 5G network.
Step 1: First of all open the ‘Settings app on your phone.
Step 2: Next, select the option of ‘Mobile Network’.
Step 3: Now select the SIM in which you want to activate 5G.
Step 4: Now select the ‘Preferred network type’ option.
Step 5: After this, a list of networks will appear on your screen.
Step 6: Just select the 5G network type from that list.
Step 7: If Jio 5G facility has been started in your area, then in the next few minutes 5G sign will appear on the status bar.

Reliance Jio has announced the 5G Welcome Offer, under which 5G service is being offered for free. Jio is giving free unlimited 5G data as well as unlimited calling facility. Jio 5G internet calling and data facility will continue till Jio’s 5G recharge plan is launched.
