The whole world knows that the consecration of Lord Ram will take place on January 22 in Ayodhya, preparations for which are in full swing. Ram Mandir Trust built this statue based on the form of Ram described in Ramcharitmanas and Valmiki Ramayana. General Secretary of Ram Mandir Trust said that out of the three idols being made, one will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum and the other two idols will be installed at two different places in the temple.

Champat Rai, general secretary of Ram Mandir Trust, said, ‘The idol weighs about one and a half tonne. It is a stone, it is black. If considered from the toes, to the eye socket i.e. forehead, this statue is four feet, 3 inches tall, approximately 51 inches high. There is a little head, a little crown, a little aura on top of it.
