The planet orbits the red dwarf star Gliese 367, located 31 light-years (9.5 parsecs) from Earth in the constellation Vela. It was discovered in 2021 by the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS). This ultrashort period planet makes one revolution around its sun i.e. star in just 7.7 hours.
