Actress Suhani Bhatnagar, who played the role of Babita Phogat in Aamir Khan’s iconic film ‘Dangal’, passed away on Saturday, February 17. At the age of just 19, he breathed his last in AIIMS Hospital, Delhi. Suhani was suffering from a disease called dermatomyositis which comes under the category of very rare disease. According to media reports, Suhani died on 16 February at AIIMS hospital in New Delhi. His mortal remains were cremated on 17 February. Suhani’s father said that 2 months ago Suhani’s opposite hand started swelling. Then after some time, the swelling spread to his other hand and then to the entire body. Even the doctors could not recognize the disease.
After the disease progressed, Suhani was admitted to AIIMS where it was discovered that he was suffering from a disease called dermatomyositis. Let us tell you that dermatomyositis comes under the category of sporadic disease, the only treatment for which is steroids. Suhani was also given steroids, due to which her body’s autoimmune system was affected and her immunity became weak.”And this is being said to be the main reason for Suhani Bhatnagar’s demise.
Who was Suhani Bhatnagar?
Suhani Bhatnagar entered Bollywood in 2016 through Aamir’s film ‘Dangal’. However, later he took a break from acting to concentrate on his studies. Suhani also acted in some TV commercials. In many of her interviews, Suhani had said that after completing her studies, she could work in the film industry. Suhani Bhatnagar was not very active on social media.
