RBI Latest News

RBI is very strict at this time. It has imposed a ban by taking action against 3 more banks.

The Reserve Bank of India has taken action against those banks whose financial condition has worsened.

For the past few years, RBI has imposed restrictions on many banks, including a ban on withdrawing money from the account.

Today RBI has imposed restrictions on 3 cooperative banks in view of their deteriorating financial condition.

1- Jaiprakash Narayan Nagari Sahakari Bank:  Due to the ban on this bank, depositors will not be able to withdraw money from their accounts.

2- The Karmala Urban Co-operative Bank:  The depositors of this bank can withdraw only Rs 10,000 from their accounts.

3- Durga Co-Operative Urban Bank:  The customers of this bank can withdraw up to Rs 1.5 lakh from their deposits.

Under the restrictions of RBI, these banks can no longer give loans, nor can they make any investments.

RBI restrictions include borrowing money and accepting new deposits, distributing or disposing of assets or properties.
