Akasa Air starts booking tickets:

Akasa Air is an airline company invested by Indian billionaire investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala.

Booking for commercial flights of Aakasa Air has started. The company will start its first flight on August 7.

Rakesh Jhunjhunwala-invested This airline will operate 28 flights a week between Mumbai and Ahmedabad.

Akasa Air will also operate 28 flights every week between Bengaluru and Kochi from August 13.

The company has started the advance sale of tickets for Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, and Kochi networks.

According to the company, the minimum one-way fare on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route will be Rs 3,948.

Let us tell you that the fare of other airlines on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route is Rs 4,262.

Akasa's operations begin with a brand new Boeing 737 aircraft between Mumbai and Ahmedabad.

The company has ordered a total of 72 aircraft. Out of which 18 aircraft are to be delivered by March 2023.

The remaining 54 aircraft will be supplied during the next four years. So the initial phase of flights will be for limited cities.
