Renault Kwid E-Tech Launched

Renault's most affordable 5-seater car Kwid is very much liked in the world top market.

French automaker Renault has launched an all-electric version of its highly successful hatchback Kwid e-Tech in Brazil.

The Renault Kwid electric car has been first launched in the Brazilian market under the name Kwid E-Tech.

Now the Renault company is planning to launch the electric avatar of this car soon in India and Europe as well.

The price of Renault Kwid E-Tech in Brazil is around 1.43 lakh riyals. Now it will be interesting to see what will be its price in India.

The company claims that Renault's new Kwid e-Tech can last up to 300 km on a full charge.

Renault Kwid E-Tech gets features like 7.0-inch touchscreen system, all power windows, manual AC and voice recognition.

Safety features of the Kwid E-Tech include ABS with brake assist, hill-start assist, electronic stability control, six airbags and tire pressure monitoring.

The Renault Kwid E-Tech is powered by a 65PS electric motor coupled with a 26.8kWh battery pack.

In Eco mode, it delivers 44 PS of power output to optimize battery life.This electric hatchback can accelerate from 0 to 50 kmph in 4.1 seconds.

Renault has not shared any technical details of the Kwid e-Tech so far but according to sources, it will be offered in a very powerful powertrain for the Indian market.
