Adani group has fixed a new date for the proposed open offer to buy a 26% public stake in NDTV.
Adani's open offer for NDTV will now open for subscription on 22nd November and will close on 5th December.
Let us tell you that earlier the Adani Group had given a date from October 17 to November 1 for the open offer.
In August 2022, Gautam Adani's company bought Vishwapradhan Commercial Private Limited (VCPL).
VCPL, along with AMG Media Networks and Adani Enterprises Ltd, made an offer price of an additional 26 percent stake.
VCPL has offered Adani Enterprises to acquire 1.67 crore equity shares at an offer price of Rs 294 per share.
AMG Media Networks Limited (AMNL) is the media company of Adani Group which acquired VCPL.
Adani Group currently holds the majority stake in NDTV at 29.30 percent. But 51 percent is needed for ownership.
Adani Group has the right to make an open offer and wants to buy an additional 26 percent stake.
After the open offer, Adani will now have a total stake of 55.3 percent in NDTV and will get ownership rights.
