Through Aadhar OTP: On the website of the INCOME TAX department, the option of 'Return Verify through Aadhar OTP' has to be selected in the verification method.

Through NetBanking: You can verify your ITR by clicking on the Tax tab through Internet Banking and selecting the option of Generate EVC in the My Account tab.

Through Bank Account: Go to the e-filing portal and generate OTP by submitting the bank account details in the return verification option.

Through ATM: You can also get your Income Tax Return Verified through the 'PIN for Income Tax Filing' option in the bank's ATM.

Through Demat Account: If you use a Demat account, then ITR verification can also be done through that.

Through Offline: You can verify the return by sending the signed copy of the ITR-V form to the Income Tax Department.

The time limit for e-verification after the filing of an income tax returns has been reduced from 120 days to 30 days.

As per the Income Tax Department now you need to verify your return within 30 days from the date of filing of ITR.
