Yogi Govt has approved the Electric Vehicle Manufacturing and Mobility Policy 2022
Yogi government will give a subsidy of 15 percent on the factory price of electric vehicles purchased in UP.
Under this, a subsidy of 5 thousand rupees per vehicle will be given on the first two lakh two-wheeler electric vehicles.
The first 50,000 three-wheeler electric vehicles will be given a subsidy of up to a maximum of Rs 12,000 per vehicle.
For the first 25,000 four-wheeler electric vehicles, a subsidy of up to Rs 1 lakh per vehicle will be given.
Under this, a subsidy of up to Rs 20 lakh per e-bus will be given on the first 400 buses purchased in the state.
Along with this, a maximum of 1000 e-goods carriers will be given a subsidy of up to 1,00,000 per vehicle.
The government has set a target of investment of 30 thousand crore rupees in the state for Electric Vehicle Manufacturing.
Under this scheme of the Yogi government, about 10 lakh people are likely to get employment directly and indirectly.
The new electric vehicle policy aims to develop an environment-friendly transport system in the state.
Yogi government aims to make Uttar Pradesh a global hub for the manufacturing of electric vehicles, batteries, and related equipment.
