Four types of Direct Loans are offered by The William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program.
1- Direct Subsidized Loans: Its granted to students who are eligible according to financial need.
2- Direct Unsubsidized Loans: It's granted to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. It's not based on financial need.
3- Direct PLUS Loans: it's granted to graduate or professional students and parents of dependent undergraduate students.
4- Direct Consolidation Loans: It allows you to combine all your Federal student loans into one loan using a single servicer.
You must be enrolled at a school that is part of The William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program.
