Finance Minister has made a big announcement about the affordable house for all!
The budget allocation of PM Awas Yojana has been increased by 66 percent as compared to earlier.
After increasing the budget of PMAY, now this budget has been increased to more than Rs 79,000 crore.
In the financial year 2022-23, the Finance Minister allocated Rs 48,000 crore for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Explain that the objective of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is to give their own house to all the people of the country.
Amount to be given under this scheme: For plains: Rs one lakh 20 thousand For hilly areas: Rs one lakh 30 thousand
Under this scheme, the government gives money to those people who do not have permanent houses to build houses.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, houses are allotted to poor families who do not have a pucca house.
Citizens with motorized two-wheeler or three-wheeler are not eligible for Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
